Our unique college planning solutions are different from every other company. To achieve the best possible outcomes, we start working with students early (While students can start on our program at any point in their high school lives, the ideal time to start our program is between 8th and 9th grade). At this early age, we begin with personality profiling and in-depth interviews in order to better understand what each student needs and likes. We take these reports and use them to shape how we interact and what guidance we offer in order to help our students have the richest and most impressive high school experience possible.
The Academetrix approach involves helping each individual student find passion in their lives through early exposure and guidance. We consider the unique qualities of each student and seek out custom fit experiences and scholarships for them. These opportunities are brought to students without the need or hassle of them finding something that fits who they are. While the first experience that we match them with is not always the one that they stick with, the early exposure allows them to narrow down their interests until they can find a field that truly resonates with them. Examples of these activities include things such as politics, teaching, mentoring, television, radio, competitive programs (robotics, sports, speech, debate, etc), health, law, social services, etc. Furthermore, if students have an interest in a program that does not yet exist, Academetrix will help them build it from scratch.

HOW DOES marcademics WORK?
We typically schedule weekly or bi-weekly sessions of 60 to 90 minutes for tutoring sessions. There is no hassle of finding time to bring your students to a center and picking them up, our tutors will arrive at your door ready to teach and you will be billed at the end of the month.
WHAT CAN WE HELP WITH?
We provide help with most subjects k-12 and even some college level courses. For specifics, please refer to our tutoring page. If you have a need or request for a subject not listed, please do inquire and we will do our best to find you the help you need.
HOW DO I GET A TUTOR?
Simply call or email us and we will hand-pick a tutor that suits your needs. Of course, you will have the final say in who your child works with and we are happy to re-match students with an alternative tutor if you prefer.
HOW CAN I GET THE SAME TUTOR?
Generally, we arrange for the same tutor to work with the same students on a regular basis. We value continuity and comfort in teaching style. The only exceptions to this are usually if that tutor is unavailable or if your needs have changed.
THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
We require 24 hours notice from the scheduled start of a tutoring session in order to cancel without being billed. Please understand that our tutors set aside time for each student and that time can rarely be rescheduled with such short notice.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM TIME?
The minimum amount of time to work with a tutor is one hour. The reason for this is that our tutors take the time to travel to a student’s home and we do not bill for that time. In order to make it worthwhile for our tutors and students, we require that the session minimum time is one hour. Time after one hour will be billed in 15 minute increments.
